Tickets can only be purchased online; there is no internet connection near the entrance. We recommend purchasing your tickets before ascending.
Last admission for visits to the Crater (opening at 9:00 AM):
November/December/January/February: 3:00 PM
March/October: 4:00 PM
April/May/June/September: 5:00 PM
July/August: 6:00 PM
PLEASE NOTE: Access to the tour route is subject to favorable weather conditions. In case of strong winds, rain, or snow, the trail may be closed.
Entry through the automatic gate is permitted at a time predetermined at the time of purchase, and can be entered with a tolerance of thirty minutes before to ninety minutes after the scheduled time (e.g., those selecting the 4:10 PM time slot can enter from 3:40 PM to +390817393666, with the exception of the requirement to enter no earlier than 9:00 AM and no later than the last scheduled entry time, and to exit by the site's closing time.
ANY LATE-ARRIVALS for reasons beyond the control of the Park WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
In the event of a WEATHER WARNING, Vesuvius Park will close the park entrances without notice and will reopen as soon as weather conditions permit safe access to the area. In that case, you will receive a refund for the service, less management fees.

How do we work
- Select your favorited hour.
- The bus will leave the meeting point in front the Ercolano Scavi Station at that hour or Naples in via Galileo Ferraris 42.
- In 30 minutes we will arrive at the Vesuvio Park's Parking
- You will have 2 hours to go on the top and come back
- In 30 minutes you could be back in Ercolano Scavi Station.
